President Thomas Jefferson, in 1803, commissioned Meriwether Lewis and William Clark to traverse the Louisiana Purchase and search for the fabled Northwest Passage. Creative World has retraced this epic journey, from Americas’ heartland to the Pacific Northwest, recreating the unforgettable drama of the Corps of Discovery. You will hear and speak with actors, writers and guides who are true students of Lewis and Clark. You will feel the spirit of the explorers’ journey as you boat the Missouri River, enjoy breathtaking views, and walk on the ancient trails used by the Corps.
