There are many questions and considerations you might have when you are planning an RV vacation. Without being specific to a particular destination, we’ve identified some of the more common questions.
We have convenient options for you to reserve your spot. Call us at (800) 952–8496, visit with one of our Ambassadors, or go to our web site and book online. Any way you choose, you are guaranteed the best customer service possible.
When you travel with us outside the lower 48 States, your vacation includes emergency medical assistance, rig recovery, and evacuation plan as added benefits because your peace of mind is important to us. If you have a medical emergency or a mechanical breakdown during your tour that prevents you from continuing, you will receive a prorated credit less any prepaid deposits made to our vendors on your behalf.
In order for you to enjoy freedom on your RV vacation, we recommend that you bring your tow vehicle on tours over 24 days. You will have free days to enjoy and explore on your own. It is an individual preference, but most people tell us they wished they would have brought their tow vehicle.
Yes, with the exception of overseas tours. For most of us, pets are our children. Canada and Mexico require proof of rabies vaccination. During the Copper Canyon passenger train, Heart of Mexico and the Polar Bear tours, your pet will need to be boarded at the local kennels or cared for by local RV park staff. Be sure to register your pets with us.
If you would like, but it isn’t necessary. We provide each of our guests with comprehensive, up-to-date, field-researched trip logs documenting each landmark and turn along the route. You may travel at your own pace, enjoy photo stops, and side trips. Rest assured the staff is there to ensure safety and security for the entire group. It’s your vacation, so we offer options; we want you to enjoy safety, comfort and freedom.
Our overall customer satisfaction is 98% and more than 65% of our current reservations are from repeat customers. Many have been on 10 or more vacations with us. Many recommend starting out with perhaps a rally or a less demanding destination first. As you gain experience, work your way up to a more adventurous vacation like the 44 day Yucatan. Give us a call today at (800) 952–8496 for recommendations tailored for you.
Yes. You’ll want to make reservations early to guarantee your date. Reservations are prioritized in the order we receive them. Most of our caravans are limited to 22 RVs, and rallies are determined individually.
We do recommend ride sharing when it is the best way to enjoy a venue. In most cases, for city tours and trips included in the itinerary, we will provide the transportation by either bus or taxi. Sometimes, such as a restaurant within a mile or so of the park, it makes more sense and keeps your costs down for everyone to share rides, and our staff will assist with setting that up.
Yes, tips are included for all meals and events in the daily itinerary. For exemplary service above and beyond the call of duty, please feel free to tip anyone including your personal wagonmasters and tailgunners.
For trips south of the border, you must have a Mexico Vehicle Liability Insurance policy for each motorized vehicle. Vista Group Insurance is our sister company. For your convenience, we can assist you in obtaining all of your Mexico and domestic insurance needs at very reasonable rates. Call us for a free, no obligation quote at (866) 270–5297, or visit fantasyrvtours.com or creativeworldtravel.com.
Today, a passport is not required to travel by land, only a certified birth certificate. In the event of an emergency, you will need a passport to fly into the U.S. You will need a passport effective June 1, 2009. Currently, all overseas travel requires a passport.
We publish our lowest possible price. Occasionally, opportunities arise with our vendors that allow us to pass on an even better price to you. We’ll do that for you. We also reward you with frequent traveler credits toward a future tour with us. Give us a call today at (800) 952–8496.
Yes, our cancellation policy is very liberal because we understand the RV lifestyle! We also offer a low cost trip cancellation and interruption plan that includes medical coverage and so much more!
Potlucks are not part of our scheduled itineraries. However, if part or the entire group wants to get together and bring a dish, then our staff will facilitate that process. Potlucks are not a requirement and are completely optional for all of our guests.
Ambassadors are very experienced RVers that understand the special needs when planning your RV Vacation. You will see them at RV parks all across the country, at national and regional shows and rallies, and don’t be surprised if you see them driving down the road.
